My Beauty Haul!
Luckily I had some foresight before we left for Taiwan and I actually packed my foldable Longchamps weekender. To say it came in handy would be an understatement muhahaha.
Some of the free stuffs I got when I purchased my beauty products!! Loveeee free stuff :)
Makeup Removers |
I purchased a random selection of makeup removers.. some Neutrogena and Biore (along with the refillable packs and travel packs). As well as some liquid removers for eye makeup. The smaller bottle is oil based whereas the larger bottle is water based. The sales girl said the water based makeup remover is UBER popular and always sells out unfortunately the bottle is in Japanese so I don't know the name of it :(
Rilakkuma! |
I heart Rilakkuma!! :)
I got these super adorable wipes and a pink sequined makeup bag and a bottle that smells like apple.. it says "Body Soap" on it... but it has a pump on it so I'm assuming it's just a mistaken case of "engrish" and it's hand soap and not a body wash haha.
Face masks |
As for the Hello Kitty masks.. well.. it's HELLO KITTY!! Haha how could I not get them?! :p
Oil Blotters & Clay Mask and Firming Masks |
I tried the firming mask and I really felt my skin tightening while I had the mask on.. I have no idea and can't really vouch if it ACTUALLY firmed my skin up but it definitely felt really tight on my face while the mask was on.
Liquid eyeliner |
Random Stuffs |
I also bought some spray on SPF! I loveeee spray SPF! I hate the greasy feeling of putting on SPF from a squeeze bottle. This one is from Cyber Color and it's a Korean company and it's SPF 50 PA+++. I was really sold on it because it claims that it is oil-free, non-greasy and waterproof! We shall see!!
I also stocked up on eyebrow shapers! These work REALLY well and are SUPER sharp.. you have to be really careful when you use them or you can seriously accidentally slice off your entire eyebrow. Serious. No jokes I sorta sliced off the tail end of my eyebrow. FOR REALS. #NOTCUTE bahahaha!
Gradient nail polishes |
I also stocked up on gradient nail polishes! WOOT! These are from a Taiwanese company called Beauty World. I'm super excited to use these!! They're sorta like eyeshadow quads but for your nails hahahaha.. it's gradient nails for dummies.. painting by numbers if you will :p!
Eyelashes |
I'm a lash girl through and through! I love lashes and I made a point of stocking up on them in Taiwan. I love wearing lashes and wear them whenever I wear makeup but they can get REALLY pricey especially if you are purchasing them at your local drugstore. A pair of Ardell will normally run you about $4-5 bucks. Especially for someone like me who tends to layer several lashes on top of each other when I wear them so that gets really expensive fast! In Taiwan a box of 10 pairs will run you roughly $6 US. WOOT!
That's it for my beauty drugstore haul!
Stay tuned for my Chanel make-up haul coming soon!
OMG, what a haul Lisa! I've tried those Hello Kitty face masks before and like them a lot. Also, I totally want those gradient polishes... so cute.
ReplyDeletexo, alison*elle
goodness! Look at all those goodies. I remember when my grandmother went to Korea last year, she literally walked through a beauty department store and came out with 2 bags of free samples. I'm still not done using them. But Asian beauty products are so adorable, I'd totally stock up again!
ReplyDeleteoh wow - what a haul! i think it would be safe to say that i would come back with extremely heavy bags and very poor if i ever get to go to japan... bwhahaha.
ReplyDeleteSo many goodies! Great haul!! I can't wait to go Taiwan and splurge myself! :)
ReplyDeletenow this is my kind of post! ;)
ReplyDeletei am lusting after those lashes-- i am a major lash novice... i love the effect, but have no idea which ones to look for! you must do a lash/eye makeup tutorial!
woah! that's a lot of falsies! i have to purchase some soon xD i kinda feel naked not using it.
ReplyDeletebtw, don't you get a hard time applying them? any tips? cus i have a hard time putting them sometimes..
ReplyDeleteoh wow what a haul. How I wish I could go to Taiwan just to going shopping.
ReplyDeleteWOW, i love your haul!!!! So many goodies! Wish i was in Taiwan right now! lol
ReplyDeleteThe nail polishes look so pretty and i'm so fascinated with that spray on SPF, tell us how that works out for you.
OMGGGG so many lashes! i have a lot too but i never put them on due to laziness and i'm so bad at putting them on, every time i do it takes me 10 minutes AT LEAST!
can't wait for you to show us your next haulage!

Gerrghhhhhhhh - that was pretty much the sound I was making and my expression throughout the whole post. I'm SO HUNGRY FOR BEAUTY PRODUCTS (and food) now. My favourite is the gradient nail polish, no idea those even existed!! Taiwan has definitely shot to the front of my to visit and shop at list now
ReplyDeleteAah, your Rilakkuma wipes are so cute and the Hello Kitty face mask is super adorable! :D
ReplyDeleteI'm drooling right now! The packaging is just so cute! I would love goodies as fun as these look.
ReplyDeleteI personally love Biore's makeup removing wipes, works incredibly well! I love nexcare as well, at first I was skeptical, but it work wonders on my pimples!
ReplyDeleteI like My Beauty Diary too and got a bunch at Sasa while I was in Taiwan too! I will definitely have to try the one by Sasa. My favorite clay mask of the moment is the White Umbrian clay mask bar by Fresh (the trick is to just wet your fingers and pat on the targeted area so you don't wet the entire bar and it cracks/crumbles on you).
ReplyDeleteThanks for sharing and have fun using your beauty finds!
FANTASTIC HAUL! I love the gradient polishes you got! And the Biore make-up removal wipes work really well.
ReplyDeleteThis was such a great haul! I loved reading through all of this. I NEVER wear make up but I love reading about facial cleansers all the time!
ReplyDeletelots of goodies ;-)
ReplyDeleteLashes <3!! Girl, you sure know how to shop!!
ReplyDeleteAwesome stuff girly!!
ReplyDeleteDarling, you make the most out of the Taiwan trips! I really need to hit up Sasa when I am there again. Thanks for the tip - i'll get masks there!

ReplyDeleteI'm having some SERIOUS taiwan withdrawls now!! first, it was your amazing taiwan food post, and now beauty post!! My friend's mom owns a Shiseido store and buys TONS of lashes from Taiwan. Literally, they are small boxes of lashes in bigger boxes, stored in cardboard boxes, and piled up to the ceiling in their living room. Oh gosh, I miss Taiwan!!
ReplyDeletewow, so much goodies! Envy envy! My sis-in-law is from Taiwan and when she goes home for visits, she would bring back the cutest souvenirs for me.

ReplyDeleteThat is a HUUUUGE haul! I thought I bought a lot in Hong Kong but you totally beat me haha! For the Rilakkuma body soap - it actually might be body wash! A lot of the body washes in Asia are sold in pump form :)
ReplyDeletei LOVE taiwan!!! :) heheh!! and wow that's a lot of eyelashes!!
ReplyDeleteI love this post! I love to look at all these cute Taiwanese and Japanese beauty hauls. It seems like your Long Champ weekender came in handy with so much beauty loots.
ReplyDeleteThat is a lot of fake lashes! You don't reuse your lashes? Gee, I feel so dirty. I reuse them to death coz I can't always find suitable ones and I feel they are too expensive to be thrown for one time use.
I would so love to try the gradient nail polish for dummies coz I'm a dummy and I like the outcome of the gradient nail polish.
That is quite some haul! LOVE IT! I'm a makeup junkie too! Love love all the lashes you bought. Do you wear them everyday?? I have always wanted to try them but I'm scared I will glue my eye shut. Any advice would be fantastic!
ReplyDeleteI enjoyed reading your post! That's a lot! I am particularly intrigued by the spray spf! Will buy that when i visit sasa soon!

ReplyDeletei think my first reaction when i saw the first pic was "holy crap"!!!
ReplyDeleteI'm heading back to Asia for a visit later this year (YAY! watch out, hawker stalls!!) and I've just made a list! thanks!
Holy cow, Lisa! What a haul! I am glad you were able to stock up on your favorite beauty products. They sure will last you for a while =)
ReplyDeleteOMG LADY YOU ARE CRAZY and so I am HAHAHAHAHA! Next time you know you need to bring along TWO longchamp bags and I don't mean the tote sized one people carry but the extra large ones LOL Actually my body soap comes in a pump bottle too! There's so much cuteness in this post I wanna barf and I also wanna punch you so that when you're holding your guy from the pain I can run away with your goodies, wait was that too graphic or mean? Oo
ReplyDeleteAll those lashes just look like creepy spiders to me LOL <-- got a funny store to tell with that one! And holy F me, spray sunscreen? I need some now!!! I also love clay masks and personally like "liquid" masks over sheet masks, I have a small shrunken raisin face so the sheet masks never fit properly and half the time I can't breath.
Such a great HAUL Lisa! I LOOOVE stocking up on eyelashes in Taiwan! And that Hello Kitty Mask is too cute!
ReplyDeletexx Vivian @ http://diamondsandtulle.blogspot.com
