One of the best parts about living in Germany is they do Christmas right! hahaha.
I LOVE LOVE all things Christmas and their Christmas markets are amazing!
Nuremberg each year hosts the largest Christmas market in Germany and lucky us it's only about 1.5 hours away for us :)
The Hubs Zoolander "Blue Steel" look puhahahah!
So pretty!! I love these stars!
Gluhwein!
Hot mulled wine to warm the soul!
Schwein steak sandwich |
Ok this is literally one of the top 10 best things I've ever eaten in my entire life!
I had one last year at the Nuremberg Christmas market and I was on a mission to find it again this year! Last Christmas we went to Christmas markets all over Germany I think we went to like 4 different cities and I only found this pork sandwich in Nuremberg. IT.IS.CRAZY.DELICIOUS!
We saw the same adorable doggy last year too!!
He's so obedient too he just sits there next to his owner!
Belgium waffles w/ fresh strawberries, whip cream and powdered sugar |
Omm Nom Nom!!
The Europeans do waffles soooooooooooooooo well! I have not had a single bad waffle since we've been in Europe! I've always loved waffles but I rarely order them in the states because whenever I do I always seem to be disappointed. This was warm crispy on the outside and light and airy on the inside!
Ok I don't know why but I seriously have a freakish fascination for miniaturized foods especially when they're made to look like something else. BAHAHAHAHA.
This is marzipan rolled and dyed to look like kosher buns w/ little Nuremberg sausages and mustard in the middle!
<3
Hubs was poking fun at me because you might have noticed in these pictures I'm wearing a camo print scarf + an olive green military parka jacket. And he said that I was "camo'd out" whatever that means ahahahaha!
Look I'm just trying to support my man ok?
and also because wearing anything military these days is tres chic! hahahaha!
LOVE IT! We went to our first Christmas Market in Vancouver and it completely pales in comparison to the ones in Germany! Love the pictures! I could totally go for a mug of mulled wine right about now!
