As our time in Europe is winding down. Hubs and I have been making more of a point to visit some of the "enriching cultural" attractions. Who knew such a beautiful Japanese garden existed right in the heart of the city center in GERMANY of all places!!
I'm not a photographer by any means but I swear even with my pedestrian amateur skills it's impossible to take mediocre picture in this beautiful garden oasis :).
Matcha ice cream!!!! I found a recipe for matcha mousse which I'm dying to make but can't find matcha anywhere! :'( Such beautiful photos - looks like such a calming place! x x

Absolutely breathtaking photos! In dire need of some of that sereneness.
ReplyDeleteAre you moving back to the states after your European stint?
Yeah, a beautiful japanese garden in the middle of Germany! That' s awesome though! All you need now is a photo of someone having a BBQ grill party in the middle of the zen garden for the most interesting photo! haha
ReplyDeleteThose pics are so pretty! Is this in Frankfurt? I think I've walked by it before. Next time we need to go visit like you two. :) Can't believe you're almost moving back, must be exciting but I can see why you're trying to see as much as possible now. Love the photos of the fish too

Beautiful pictures!! I'm sure the pictures don't do the place justice. Are you excited to be moving? I'm sure moving around gets difficult.

You could've said you were in Japan and no one would know the better! Such a pretty park, a nice place to just chill and enjoy the scenery. Are you leaving Europe soon?
ReplyDeleteI haven't been able to comment on your previous posts but I have been reading!! So much thought put into the Weightloss series and very well worded as well. I have been overweight for a long time and I'm slowly fixing my bad eating habits (as well as incorporating some exercise). Am going to search for "The Weight of the Nation" and watch it. Your tips on how you've achieved a healthier you is practical and achievable, no fad diets/pills nor starving.. just moderation and consistency in everything you're doing.
Thank you so much for the advice (: Also, #broccolishortage2014 ftw! haha
