OOTD: Peekaboo Bandeau










Top & Skirt: F21, Bandeau: HANKY PANKY, Coat: DOLCE VITA, Bangle: ASOS, Ring: BCBG, Shoes: YSL, Handbag: CHANEL

I have a confession.  I'm a closet hoarder.  Literally.. I hoard things in my closet bahahahaha!

I tend to buy things that I think are cute and love even if I don't really have a purpose for it and sometimes I won't even wear them for like a YEAR or TWO!  I KNOW RIGHT.

Isn't there some cardinal rule about donating clothes if you haven't worn them in 6 months.

HAHAHAHA.

Umm.. yeah I epic fail on that rule. 

Anyways a couple of years ago I bought a couple of bandeau's with full intentions of wearing them except I could never figure out how to style them! 

I love sheer tops but I'm a bit more of a conservative dresser (HAHA. ok maybe not.. the bandage skirt is not helping my case here) but since I am a married woman I try to not wear clothing that's too revealing or that would be construed as disrespectful to the Hubs.  hahaha so even though I LOVE the look of a bra under a sheer top.. the Hubs definitely does not like it on me and I have finally realized after TWO long years  of hoarding the bandeau's in the back of my dresser drawer that they are perfect underneath a sheer top and even better the Hubs approves!  WOOHOO! :)

    super cute lisa! i know the feeling, wearing a bra under a sheer shirt is a little unsettling, or atleast i don't feel like i can pull it off. love the way you wore the bandeau underneath it's totally tasteful and just the right amount of skin =)

    Hahaha, you are not the only one. I hoard things too! I recently found a Alexander McQueen scarf in my closet that I got two years ago yet to be worn! Oops... :p

    I love the bangle. That reminds me I have some I need to wear too...

    You look fab!! I too am a hoarder. I just found a brand new Goyard Tote in my closet. It was purchased two years ago. Still had the tags on it!! Guess, I do not need another handbag!!

    i need to get me some bandeaus too because i'm in the same boat as you. i also hate it when i go shopping and i see a BUNCH of cute outfits that are only appropriate for clubbing. which i guess i shouldn't be doing anymore since i'm married? =P

    I love the bra under a sheer top, however I have a rather unattractive belly since gaining so much weight. So no more to that :( Guess it's time to get some workout in me?

    haha, love this Lisa and I definitely don't follow the 6 month rule either. You look hot in the bandage skirt with the sheer to and I know what you mean about the conservative part, I think I'm getting more into that too. hehe.     Looking good dear and I have to check out bandeaus as well. I love how your camera and skirt match!
    I used to be really bad and actually liked to keep clothing new. Weird right? There are admittedly some things I haven't worn yet and I'm looking into selling, donating or changing them!

    I have 2 bandeau tubes too, 1 white and 1 black and I wear them underneath many of my sheer tops or butterfly sleeves tops or tops with open neckline or sleeves. I'm glad you needn't have to donate your bandeaus coz that's the best way to wear them.

    You can't follow the 6 month rule coz you would so totally epic fail yourself. haha

    Yes, I think for high astigmatism, you can't wear soft lens. It is a pity. I know what you mean about being able to feel the bump of the hard contacts. I tried hard contacts before and it hurt so much. Well, you look good in glasses so that totally solves your problem with contacts and yes I do know what you mean too when you said it is nice to wear contacts for certain functions especially with the dressing.

    I hoard too! I have 5 maybe 6-7 pairs of shoes in my closet that I haven't even wore that I only bought because t hey were cute and cheap. Then I have tops and pants that the tags haven't even been cut off and it's been what..1-2 years?
