I found this super cute Chanel inspired sweater cardigan from Forever 21 and it was so cute I just had to take it home.
Unfortunately after I got home I realized that it made me look SO matronly so it sat untouched in my closet for nearly six months. SIX MONTHS!
After several failed attempts at styling this cardigan I jazzed it up with liquid leggings and some colorful pumps!
Here's the end result what do you guys thinks?
I Forever 21 Faux Chanel Cardigan I LOFT Layered Tank Dress I
I Romeo & Juliet Couture Liquid Leggings I Kenneth Jay Lane Earrings I
I Christian Louboutin New Simples 120's I Chanel m/l Lace Flap I
I don't think you look matronly at all! Very cute with the pop of turquoise. I am super jealous of all your designer pieces Lisa, but you are also so great at mixing high and low! :)
ReplyDeleteHave a great week!
Jen

Such a cute cardigan! ^.^ Lovvee those shoes! What a bold pop of color.
ReplyDeletei like your shoes ;)
ReplyDeleteI adore an entire ensemble of your outfit, bag and shoes. The F21 cardigan is so Chanel at a fraction of the cost, I wish I bought one (I want, I want!!). I bought a Chanel inspired jacket from there since several months ago but don't know how to style it just yet. F21 is so good at copying designer pieces, but quality is a hit or miss. Their stuff are so trendy and super affordable which I love.
ReplyDeleteThe pumps add a splash of fun color. Love Your flap!!!!
nowhere does this say matronly!
ReplyDeleteLove this look, and those shoes are beyond gorgeous! So chic :)\

love what the turquoise pumps do for your outfit! it really livens it up :)
ReplyDeletethanks for the tips on the miumiu vs. prada pumps. the little gold plate IS quite adorable... but i actually prefer the color of the miu mius (a little more nude, less pink). i'll need to go to the store and walk around in them a little bit before i take the plunge.
Hey Lisa,
ReplyDeleteIt looks great on you. I don't think it's matronly either and it definitely could work with a preppy look too like over a red cotton dress or something.
OMG, those heels are so hot on you and I love the liquid leggings. They're really flattering
xoDale
I seriously LOVE the cardi. You look hot! :) Those heels are beautiful, great color.
ReplyDeleteOh yes, I can tell! =D Sales tax in Vegas is da bomb compared to Cali so you will have fun!!
ReplyDeleteOk I love those pumps..not to mention the chanel lace bag...OMG! I knew I found a fellow shoe lover when I first came on your blog...have you found the Miu Mius versatile??
ReplyDeleteI think it looks great. I love the pop of color of the heels. Very nice.
ReplyDeleteThe cardigan is very cute! Not matronly at all when paired with the leggings and pumps (which are a gorgeous color btw!) :D
