Neiman Marcus Rotunda


NOTD: Sephora by O.P.I. Caribbean Cocktail and PA Lame Grande AA36

I never realized this until I started blogging but I eat at department store cafe's a lot.  AHAHAHAHA.  The hubs says it's because I'm always SHOPPING. AHHHHHAHAHAHA.


Neiman Marcus's yummy buttery soft and custard-y popovers with the most delicious strawberry butter ever!  It's the perfect mixture of salty and sweet.  OM NOM NOM NOM.


I HEART the ROTUNDA!!!  The ceiling is just amazing and has a great view overlooking Union Square.  I feel so classy when I have lunch there ahahahaha.

Lobster Club Sandwich w/ Taro Chips

I think I've ordered this EVER SINGLE TIME I've eaten at the Rotunda.  There's no point in me ordering anything else because their lobster club is seriously the most amazing thing EVER.

The Lobster Club is STUFFED with lobster, bacon (the thick cut kind not the crappy thin falling apart kind), gigantic slabs of avocado on buttery toasted bread and freshly fried taro chips sprinkled with a little salt.

IT.IS.SO.GOOD.

I just realized I'm typing a lot in caps in this post.  I think I'm feeling overly excited or something I don't know hahaha.  I did however have two shots of espresso this morning...


Me and my Lobster Club in all of it's glory.

Crab Cobb Salad

The hub's Crab Cobb Salad.  If you watch Food Network and have seen the show "The Best Thing I Ever Ate" you might recognize this as Tyler Florence's best thing he ever ate and the episode was actually filmed in this exact Neiman Marcus!

After trying it I can tell why Tyler Florence said this is the best thing he ever ate.  There is seriously a pound of crab meat on this salad.. you can't even see most of the crab because the hubs had mixed in a bunch of it before I snapped this picture.. there's literally like an entire avocado in this thing, the same thick cut bacon and the dressing is DELISH!


He's thinking "LET ME EATTTTTTTT WOMAN!"

hehehehehehe

And what's lunch at Neiman's without a little shopping? :p

    Neiman Marcus has a cafe??!?! awesome! and goshhhh you made me super drooly and hungry from this post. I do watch "The Best Thing I Ever Ate" from time to time but didn't see that episode. You mentioned bacon in both of them, i am sold.

    The Rotunda is such a nice place to eat, I've only been there once and then I went and bought some MAC eyeshadow since it was the only thing I could afford there. LOL But I definitely felt fancy eating there, the view is so cool too

    The Lobster club does look really good too

    lisa-- i am like you. i love department store cafe! i love the rotunda and i also really like the nordstrom cafe (sf center!). i always sit at the bar area because they have the funniest gay bartender.

    Hi! I am in the SF Bay Area as well and I *always* order the Lobster Club @ The Rotunda as well! ^5!!!!! DH and I will have a lobster feast so we will order the lobster bisque and lobster spring rolls as well! LOL! LOVE the strawberry butter as well! It's out of this world!
