OOTD: Shabby Chic-ness!


Before I moved to San Antonio I owned a total of 1 whole Maxi dress.  San Francisco's cool temperature climate is not really conducive to wearing maxi dresses.  haha


I've never been much of a fan of hot weather preferring fall because you get to layer your outfits and boots come out to play!   In a matter of 3 short weeks of living in S.A. I've acquired a total of 10 maxi dresses! hahahaha.  The daily weather is on average 105 degrees and short of wearing a t-shirt and shorts on a daily basis I've found that maxi's are crazy comfortable while managing to still look chic and pulled together.


You've been officially warned you will be seeing a lot of Maxi's until we move to Germany haha.

    I think the chanel makes everything less casual and more dressy :) I love that necklace too, so pretty! I only own one maxi, but I'm convinced they look great on everyone!

    Lisa, this is so cute and I love Maxi dresses. I've been wearing them all the time and this one is SO cute on you. They are actually really comfy on flights too, haha but I got checked this past weekend twice because they said Maxi dresses are so long on women they're worried so they did the pat down so be careful if you go flying in one.     Omg! Gorgy gorgy gorgy orgy?! hahahaha when I was typing "gorgy" I kept thinking, this sounds like another word, a BAD one and then I remembered! It sounds like orgy LOL You look fab here and you rock the maxi dress to the max! I've yet to find a maxi dress but there must be one waiting for me!

    I love your necklace too. I just wanna reach out and....touch...one...of..those..big...red..thingies LOL Dino would probably stop me and tell me not to touch people without their permission and continue to lecture me.....of your hubby might attack me LOL

    If it weren't for work, I'd be running around in a tank top and short shorts for the rest of the summer just because I already have a bad shorts tan. I LOVE THE NECKLACE.

    I heart maxis and you look so fab in all the ones I've seen on you so far! I still can't get over how gorgeous your hair is - so smooth and silky looking!

    We had some hot temps here for what seemed like an eternity (a record-breaking 17 straight days of high nineties to hundreds) so I definitely empathize because I love fall too! It just reminds me of how excited I was to buy back to school clothes and it still triggers a feeling of renewal and SHOPPING LOL.
