Hi! My name is Josephine!


We adopted this adorable 3 month old Lhasa Apso and we named her

Josephine because we have a Shih-tzu named Napoleon..

Get it?

Napoleon & Josephine..

ie. One of the greatest love stories in history ever!

hahaha yeah I'm kind of history nerd :p


We wanted to add to our household because Napoleon's brought us such joy and companionship and we thought a 2nd dog would bring us that much more and would have the added benefit of keeping Napoleon company when we weren't home.



However Napoleon REALLY did not like her.  I was so stressed out he started doing this strange half growl half bark we'd never heard him do before and we even saw him crying the first couple of days.  I barely slept because I felt so awful it was like he thought we brought this other dog home to torture him!


But now I'm happy to report now that HE CAN'T get enough of her he loves wrestling and running around with her.  yay!!  I'm so relieved!!  When she's in her doggy crate (we're crate training her) he sits right by her crate to keep her company!  :)


She's the happiest dog ever and she wags her tail like crazy whenever she sees me, the hubs or Napoleon!! :)

    OMG, lisa she's darling. So great Napoleon has company now, my dad got Maltipoo my sister named Masubi for my mini poodle Mochi and she likes him sometimes but he drives her nuts since he's so hyper active.

    Aww I can't get over how cute she is, glad Napoleon had also taken a liking to her.

    i want to steal your dog :p Lol. Don't worry it is absolutely normal for your dog to get jealous with the new one. Just like children when they get a new sibling. Glad it all worked out tho :)

    she's so cute with the bed fur. lol! I think its just for the beginning for most dogs 'cause they're used to getting all the attention c[= Yay for an adoption pet and whoa, such a young age too!

    EEEEK! how cute! and the names... :) how darling! I have always wanted to get a teeny dog, but the hubbers is convinced that I'll just leave it by the wayside or I'll forget we even had it. We have 3 cats and I like that they care for themselves. :) Still, a girl can dream, right?

    Cute. Cute. CUTE!!! Those are seriously the cutest names EVER! Now I really want to do a dog post on my pooch:) I always wished I could get another French Bulldog but Henri is such a diva I know he woud not deal well with his attention being split.

    aww so cute! congrats on the new pup! my puppy is 6months old & it took awhile for our other dogs to get used to him too. now they're one big happy family! 2 dogs is good - i have 3 and they're definitely a handful!

    i think it takes a while before dogs get along with each other
    we were doggy sitting for family friend's dog a few months ago... and bowie hated her!!! and by the end.. they were sorta getting along.. but she went home anyways :)

    Awwww. Lhazos are soo adorable! I rememeber playing with one at the pet store and I just wanted to kidnap him because he was so fluffy, full and energy, and just too cute. Glad your family expanded!!
