Miu Miu Reveal #2!

READY?! :)


Sorry no pretty box shot for this one.. unfortunately the box was really ginormous and since we were traveling we opted not take a box for this baby.

I was really tempted to take the box and mail it home.. but when I suggested that the hubs looked at me like I was crazy. ::sad face:: hahahah.

Then he was like 'You don't even store your bags inside their boxes you just store them in the dustbag.' (because I'm paranoid of mold developing inside the box) and I was like
'ok I see your point but............... the box is so pretty.......................'

I wasn't really into this bag when it first came out mostly because the original colors didn't really speak to me but I absolutely LOVEEEEEEEEEE this color.. in real life it's more of a buttery taupey pink color! *sigh* It's so dreamy :)



The Miu Miu Bow Bag!


The zipper flap actually folds over.. it's a bit stiff right now so I'm hoping as time goes on the leather will soften a bit and the top fold over flap will be more soft and smooshy.

If you saw my Kate Spade reveal then it will be really obvious why I'm in obsessed with this bag.

    Box or no Box I love having the box for my shoes, the darling BF once tried to take my shoes out and throw them away and he got the look of death!

    i think keeping boxes is a girl thing :p i keep all of mine until they magically disappear (aka mum throwing them away when i'm not home) i get so angry that i stop talking to her for 2 days :p then i get over it Lol

    That was funny how your hubs thought you were crazy for wanting to keep the box. My man is exactly the same. Same thing happens to me when we go on holidays and I want to keep boxes of my purchases :(

    Congrats on the bow bag, Lisa!! <3 I used to own one in ivory, but I had to sell her. :( I really regret selling it, but I think someone in Japan is currently loving it and carrying the bag more than I did. I was too scared to carry the bow bag around since it was in ivory and too light. I get paranoid when trying to keep bags clean and spotless. Loving the color!

    OMG! Did you know that is my favorite Miu Miu bag ever? I adore the bow bag and everytime I go to the Miu Miu store in NY or Hawaii I stand there and contemplate it but I haven't gotten it (presumably because I've already bought too much stuff) but dang it! Seeing your photos makes me want it even more.

    Love the color that you got. Just curious, was it cheaper in Mexico/tax savings or no difference? Just wondering if on my next trip to Mexico I'll have to make a stop at Miu Miu!

    p.s. Miu Miu boxes really are the prettiest, I would have done the same as you! :)

    I am a boy and don't use these purses or heels :O so you'll have to forgive me. Tell you what though the mexico pictures were amazing! I'd like to visit there someday. As long as you stick to the tourist areas it should be fine... but whenever I go on vacation I want to see the "non-tourist" areas. Do you feel that way too? I want to wonder off and go to their suburban neighourhoods or whatever.

    Lisa looked very pretty in the photos. I oooooo-ed when seeing fish in the water~ I'm going to plan a trip to cuba one day and hope to experience that. I'm Canadian! I can visit cuba =D Many many canadian ppl go there for a week during march.

    Thanks for paying attention to me at all actually. Writing up such lengthy comments whenever I post. I read them on the bus and it makes me smile~ Just a quick update to what you asked:

    -I'm fine, hk was not affected by radiation or tsunami or earthquake (we don't experience any weather problems other than asian typhoons). But the government is banning a lot of japanese food because they are indeed carrying radiation multiple times higher than normal. Quite scary eh... hit a bit too close to home.

    -milk in canada comes in plastic bags and we all have containers to house the bags. You can pour and stand it and nothing will happen =D It's easier to sell milk when in simple plastic instaed of a carton apparently. I have seen the taiwanese drink in a plastic bag LOL. I find it sooooooooooooo weeeeeirrrrddddddddddd!!!

    -I hope you do spend a few nights in the peninsula in hk. I will warn you; it is pricey. But for a weekend or so hell ya I would do it~

    I can totally understand why you wanted to keep the box *lol* I love boxes, too, even though I rarely keep my stuff in them, it's simply nice to have them & to look at them from time to time, right? I can never bring myself to throw them away even though I hardly know where to store them anymore *gg*
    The color of the back is lovely, I think MiuMiu bags are among the best on the market. Unfortunately I don't any *sobs* but a friend of mine has several & I'm always swooning over them big time.

    I LOVE that bag! I saw it on another blog and just fell in love! I'm insanely jealous of you, Lisa. Sighhhh Chanel will always be my number one dream bag, but this is close second.

    I LOVE BOWS TOO! I have the bag in that greyish taupe color and I love it! ITs great for travelling but it does make your shoulders sore if you put too much it it :P
