Prospect

I was so excited about this dinner because I got to meet Tiffany of I am Style-ish.  I've been following Tiffany's blog for sometime now in fact she was one of the blogs that initially got me hooked on blogging.  I absolutely adore her style and this girl seriously has a shoe closet that dreams are made of.

I was so excited when I found out she was coming down to San Francisco and leaped at the opportunity to meet her!  Woot!

When they brought this to the table my immediate thought was it looks like a youtou/fried chinese doughnut and the crazy part was it really did taste like it!! weird.. haha but it was cold.. I wanted to ask them to fry me up a fresh one and give me some cold sweet soybean milk bahahaha.

Super sweet Tiffany and her uber hilarious husband!
Golden Beets – maine lobster, caviar, ranch dressing, spiced onion rings

Foie Gras Torchon– rum brown sugar gelee, candied pineapple, jalapeno, whole wheat toast
THIS WAS SOO DELISH!  The foie gras as rich and creamy but not overwhelming and the fruit paste was so good!!  I'm not normally a fan of wheat toast but theirs was particular nommy.

Black Cod – shiso shrimp fritter, shiitake, snap peas, red curry

Kampfe Family Beef Ribeye - french onion potatoes, mustard seed relish, yellow carrots, maitake mushroom, short rib jus

Petit S’mores - house made vanilla marshmallows, graham wafers, melted ganache, syrah reduction
I've honestly never been much of a fan of marshmallows (cept in hot chocolate and then I ABSOLUTELY need the tiny marshmallows floating in my cup haha).  This was seriously the most delicious marshmallow I've ever had it was like a soft pillowy cloud!!  Homemade marshmallows and store bought marshmallows are so crazy different in taste and texture.

She's so pretty and petite!  I on the other hand look like a giant monster next to her. bleh. hahahaha.

Thanks for a wonderful evening Tiffany!  Can't wait to see you guys in Seattle soon! :)
