BARCELONA Part 3

Quickie OOTD - Jacket: F21, Sweatshirt: ZARA, Leggings & Tank: H&M, Scarf: J. CREW, Necklace: ANN TAYLOR,  Shoes: PRADA, Handbag: CHANEL

Popped into this Tapas bar for a mid morning/early lunch food fest!

Everything looked sooo crazy delicious we didn't even know where to begin!

Honestly I would tell you what these were but I'm not even sure hahah.. I know the top one was like a block of fried cheese wasn't sure what type,  then the one next to it was a slice of sausage and some type of meat on the bottom, and then the bottom one was a slice of jamon and brie I believe.

More assorted tapas.. chorizo & potatoes, fried black cod w/ lots of fried garlic and salmon w/ a seafood spread.

Squid

The outside stand.. unfortunately we weren't sitting near this so I didn't get to sample anything here but I wish I had because it looks so good!

Ok so even though we were pretty full from our tapas breakfast/lunch fest.. I find it odd calling Tapas brunch.. we decided to get dessert afterwards like the gluttons that we are.

And I am so glad I did.. so far on this trip I've had the BEST PAELLA in my entire life, ONE of the BEST BURGERS in my entire life and the BEST MEAL in my entire life well now I present the yummiest speculoo's gelato and the BEST WAFFLE I've ever had in my entire life.

I tell you Barcelona is a foodie's paradise!

Anyone that is a Trader Joe's afficinado is well acquainted with the Speculoo's cookie spread.. well this tastes JUST like it but in gelato form with crunchy gingerbread cookies on top to boot. OMGGG SO EFFIN' GOOD IT'S RIDONCULOUS!

MY SPECULOOS WAFFLE!

BEST WAFFLE OF MY LIFEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!

When they handed it to me they gave me this rinky dink plastic spoon and I was thinking in my head how the heck am I going to eat a waffle with that.  Well the waffle cuts like BUTTER.. it's sooo light and crispy on the outside and yet the inside it's light and slightly custardy just the right amount of sweetness but not overly so.

BTW for all the "tourist" things I've linked them to wikipedia so you can read about them if you are interested :)

This dude hopped into the picture right as I snapped the infamous salamander  -___- ugh why?!

Dude seriously my hair is like out of control.. I need to cut my hair NOW! It looks like I have extensions in this picture hahaha.

Can you tell I'm fake sitting down?! HAHAHA. It was raining earlier in the day and the seats were all muddy and gross and I didn't want to sit down haha but I didn't want to leave Parc Guell without a picture of me sitting at Parc Guell bahahahahahaha.

Look it's our 4th wedding anniversary trip k'?!

Deal with it ahahahahaha!

Gaudi furniture!

Miniature of Parc Guell

Ham & Cheese sammie & Brownie

And one of the best brownies I've had in my entire life..  IDK.. maybe there was something in the water (ok well that doesn't really make sense because I only drank bottled water BAHAHA) but I swear everything that I ate was EFFING' AMAZEBALLS GOOD.

Chocolate croissant & Coffee

Exhausted after a long day of sightseeing we decided to head back to the hotel and order room service.  Even my room service bacon cheeseburger was delicious!!!  And look at that gorgeous piece of bacon! *SIGH*!!!!!

Quickie OOTD - Coat & Dress: F21, Tights: DKNY, Shoes: PRADA, Handbag: CHANEL

I always pack a loose comfy dress (and or maxi dress if I'm flying from a warmer destination) and I always save it to wear on the last day because the last day is the traveling day as I try to be as comfortable as possible on the plane and also because it accommodates my newly acquired food baby from the vacay hahahahaha. Longest run on sentence ever. BOMB.

Hubs new jacket that he purchased in Barcelona.  I think he's in love hahaha.

Chips, Fruit salad, Ice Tea & Jambon sandwich

Airport food... the Jamon Ruffles were really good hahahahaha.

Hubs new jacket has lots of very on trend leather detailing throughout and has a leather buckle strap around the neck.  Pretty spiffy.

Saw this at one of the airport gift shops.

I WANT THIS. HAHAHAHAHA. OMGOSH IT'S SO UGLY IT'S CUTE.

OK that's a wrap on my Barcelona trip!!

I hope you dolls enjoyed "traveling" to Barcelona with me :)!!

  5. Oh my gosh, I love your travel posts! If it's somewhere I've been to, it makes me recall being there, and if it's somewhere I haven't, I make notes so I know where to go (for foooooood!) when I have a chance to go.

  6. Hi Lisa, I love looking at your photos but I don't believe I've ever commented. But after this post, I have to tell you that when you post these food/vacation posts, I feel like I'm there with you. Everything you and your husband eat/order/obsess over, is utterly and insanely the same as my bf and I. Jamon!! Barcelona is at the top of our list (I've obsessed over it ever since Meteor Garden =P) and after seeing your posts, I think I need to make it happen sooner rather than later. Thanks for always sharing with us!

  11. THE JAMON RUFFLES WERE SO GOOD. I KEPT ON MUNCHING ON THOSE THROUGHOUT THE WHOLE TRIP. Did you try the potatas bravos flavor? That one was also so so good. :D

Also, I really liked the Sagrada Familia's interior. It was so surreal and beautiful, especially compared to the outside, which I found kind of depressing.

  37. OMG! This trip was...wait for it..amazeballs!!! <-- Lisa's word hahahaha How sweet, romantic and fun!!! Ohhhhh in that photo of your hubs in the ice cream parlor it looks like he had blond hair because of the lady in front of him! I had to do a double take hahahaha and you have mastered the art of the invisible chair, I couldn't tell you were faking it at all!...I feel like that could have lead to a very inappropriate conversation LOL that's what she said! I'm so jealous you got to bask in all the Gaudi-ness haha

Ugh photo bombers, whether intentional or unintentional it still sucks! I think many people don't realize how long I stand and wait with patience to take the perfect photo and sometimes how thick skinned you have to be >< Did you really just "pop" into that tapas bar or did you lisa-research it? Hahahaha the food looks amazing! For my next trip I sort of want to not research any food places and go with the flow but I don't know if my paranoid and "what if I missed out" self will let me do that. And that big eyed animal plushie, can you imagine waking up to that? I'll probably punch it LOL unintentionally of course =P

P.S I hope you're using the starbucks points card to get points for all the psl's you're drinking! I want one too!
