Ready for our day!! :)

Amalfi Coast!

Honestly I didn't know a whole lot about the Amalfi Coast before coming other then the fact that Kimmie Kakes came here on her Honeymoon w/ the the Ex - Mr. Kardashian Kris Humphries..

Either way I surmised that if Kimmie Kakes was willing to vacay here it must be fabulous.

And let's just say the pictures speak for themselves.. and I'm not even a very good photographer haha.

Seriously I take sh*t scenery photos.

It's just IMPOSSIBLE to take a bad photo here it's JUST THAT GORGEOUS.

I'll let the rest of the pictures speak for themselves.

It took a good hour or so bus ride from Naples, Italy up a winding (VERY WINDY) road to get into Almalfi.. apparently it's the ONLY way to get in.. so if you get car sick easily.. I would bring your meds with you because you will DEFINITELY get sick.. half our bus was sick including the Hubs hahaha.  But it's definitely worth it because it's beautiful!  I can definitely say it's the most beautiful beach location I've ever been to.. and this is coming from someone that use to live in Hawaii!

When we got the Amalfi we decided to take a boat cruise.

<3 <3 <3

This man.. he's the most generous, loving, thoughtful husband a girl could ask for.. and has taking me all over the world.

For this I'm forever grateful!

Sophia Loren (who happens to be my FAVORITE old school sexy siren actress!! LOVE HER!) - this is her vacation home!  I was giddy like a school girl!

Apparently this region of Italy is known for their lemons!!

Lemon everything.. lemon desserts.. limoncello alcohol.. lemon soap.. lemon fragrance.. everything and anything you can imagine!

And for good reason the lemons are larger than my fist!

Hubs was so jealous of my hat he got one for himself HAHAHA.

Pizza Time!!!

Sooo good.

So simple and yet so delicious!!

So happy to have finally tried pizza in Italy!

Complete with a cheesy gladiator actor. lolololol.

I was so excited to visit Pompeii.. I had read lots of stories growing up about this ancient Roman city that was COMPLETELY destroyed by Mount Vesuvius.  Which scarily enough is apparently still an active volcano and apparently they are due for a huge eruption soon!

It's pretty amazing a good portion of the city is fairly intact.

The tour guide joked this was literally the world's first McDonalds.

The food was held in those Terra Cotta pots and people would come up to the gate and order.  So neat!!

Roman Baths

Sort of mind boggling how they were able to do this intricate stonework that long ago!

This body was "mummified" by the volcanic ash.

If you're NOT of age.. OR are easily offended.. stop reading below!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hopefully everyone reading my blog is of age.

I think you can figure out what this place was for......

If you don't get it.. well I really cannot help you hahahahaha.

And inside.. apparently people back then couldn't read so "the menu" was in picture form.

HAHAHA.

You apparently pointed at what you wanted....

And then were led to the bed.

Where said "services" were "performed"

Yeah.

That.looks.painful.

MUHAHAHAHA.

Btw. I like how there appears to be a lump where the pillow is suppose to be hahahah.

Touristy Gladiator wine bottles.. hahaha my cheap a$$ was too cheap to buy it.. but still thought it was neat enough to snap a picture of.

HAHA.
