I DON'T KNOW WHERE I'M GOING

Some people have really beautiful fashion blogs and some have blogs with the most delectable pictures of food in them.

I have no idea where this blog is going. haha.

So I would really like to take the time to say thank you to my wonderful followers!!  Thank you for taking the time to read my blog it makes me feel all warm and fuzzy inside.

I don't like the words "resolutions" or "goals" so I didn't do a New Years resolutions post.  I find that I usually stop trying by February haha.  But I feel like blogging is definitely helping me stay on track with "things that I want to accomplish this year"!

I'm really trying to blog everyday this year.. as long as I physically have access to the internet and a computer.  I don't have the best track record.. I've gone through 3 laptops in 4 years.

Also,  I fear that I've fallen into a trap of wearing head to toe black. *sigh* And it's not even interesting head to toe black like Parisians seem to so effortlessly do with unique cuts or textures.. it's just a regular black boyfriend cardi with black leggings and black flats.  Sad isn't it??  I read online recently that people wear 20% of their wardrobe 80% of the time!!  That is so me :(

I did a little damage at Stonestown today so I thought I would share my spoils with you!  I told myself I wasn't allowed to buy anything black and I didn't "yay me"!

Here we go

Ok I realize it's on the darker end of the spectrum but at least it's not black it's a dark teal? Look I'm trying ok. haha. I love the ruffle detail on it.

The ruffles continue on the back! yay! Don't you just love ruffles??

Ok this one is NAVY BLUE stripes I SWEAR.. it just came out black.. can you tell I'm already in cruise ship mode for my trip??? I'm so excited!

I LOVE LACE... possibly even more then I love ruffles.

How cute is the navy striped sweater over the lace cami!! :) This makes me really happy. haha.

I loved this combo.. it's very shabby chic but it's on a sweatshirt! I DIE!

In keeping with the shabby chic-ness the pockets were left untreated.  I love that attention to detail.. I think Forever 21's really stepped up its game lately.

Hoodie on the back

Ok before I move on to the rest of the photo's I just want to preface this by saying recently I've been really digging the sweet girl next door look.. if I lived in Paris.  I know I know I'm obsessed with all things Parisian.  I really the idea of pairing a cute short skirt with patterned tights/leggings with cute flats or pumps.

Can't you just see a girl with her hair in a messy bun sitting in a small cafe with a couple of macaroons with this skirt on??

Or maybe a gunshot wedding?? haha.

The skirt actually comes with a black band but hard to see considering my ottoman is black.

So you can see better!

Ballet class perhaps?

Yay! :)

And finally in anticipation of my cruise I was on the hunt for flip flops - slippahs for all the Hawaii peeps!

That's all folks!

  5. You picked up so many cute things, I especially love the skirts! Black is great to wear, even in head to toe if you inject a pop of unexpected colour or pattern somewhere. Just as easy and a lot more interesting! :)
